The reason for the silence has really been new software that will hopefully allow me a bit more leeway in the long run.

Well time is a rolling on and we near Xmas.
I recieved the comics from Lulu.Com the other day and I am renewed with a sense of purpose.
The finish is very nice indeed - if I were honest the book probably comes out at maybe a dollar too expensive for what it it is physically - put psychollogically it'll touch you...honest...I've had three reports of tears. So we must be doing something right.
Publishing plan is now:
December 2005
STOVEPIPE
100 page - 6''X 9'' - boys own adventure novel. In paperback and hardback editions.
January 2006
TOFFEEHAMMER Book One:New Suits
50 to 60 page - 8''X 11'' - Full Color Graphic Novel. Reworking some old friends for new readers(?)

For all those who've asked for 'real paper' versions of my work...

I've been organising a shopfront at the rather marvellous LULU.COM.

Currently available is GWENDOLINE Part One.
These are the pages that currently are to be read on my WCN site - but I must admit there is no substitution for ink and wood-pulp.
Full colour, Landscape format, 20 internal pages.

Early December - a 90 page, illustrated, 'boys own' style novel 'STOVEPIPE'...which will be familiar to all those who have followed my progress over the past couple of years. Keep an eye on this blog for sketch updates as the illustrations progress.

Into 2006 a series of Graphic Novels 'GRAND CENTRAL'.

And thats all I'm gonna promise at the moment. I have a yen to do a one off Edgar Allan Poe adaptation...but we'll see whether my two year old daughter allows me the time.

Sorry it's been so quiet for a while - I am still awake and ploughing through the prelims on a couple of strips.

Don't forget to sign up to the mailing list at Mal-o-vision by the way to get notifications when new pages are added. The new strip should be fortnightly...but if only life were that reliable.

Just a note guys. I'll be keeping the blog open as a news centre and sketchblog...but in terms of online strips I've opened an account at Webcomicsnation to see how things go.
I've posted ALL of the GWENDOLINE pages on there at the moment and am currently developing two more strips to begin posting soon.

I can't remember how many times I've gotten to this stage in the last six years or so.

Currently as we speak the project is a mod-retro homage to the 30s/40s cliffhanger serials and the pulp worlds of Doc Savage/Spider/Shadow et al...ish!

It may eventually mutate into some sort of web animation, but at the moment I'll be happy to get things underway.
